Si-forum 2013 is an international forum on R&D and production of microelectronics. It brings together Russian and foreign Hi-Tech companies for sharing experience, exchanging opinions and discussing vital issues of the industry.
The Forum will be held on October, 22, 2013, on the territory of Technopolis GS innovations cluster, Kaliningrad region, Russia. Leading Russian and international manufacturers of microelectronics will take part in the event as well as officials, representatives of regulative state institutions, R&D companies, universities. Micro and nano-electronics research and production center GS Nanotech within Technopolis GS will host Si-forum 2013.
Participants will discuss a number of trending topics: mechanisms of creating growth areas by partnerships between the state and private businesses; development within global processes; ways and opportunities of international industrial cooperation in microelectronics. The issue of how to stimulate high technology development in Russia is also on the agenda.
More than 40 leading world producers of microelectronics visited Si-forum in 2012. Among them were delegates from Intel, Panasonic, LG Electronics, Motorola, Samsung, Toshiba, SONY, Nanium, Assembleon, Broadcom, CAVIUM, HYLAB, NCAB GROUP, Parrot, Renesas, SMIC, STMicroelectronics, Texas Instruments, Tyco Electronics , RUSNANO, OSTEC and other companies. Participants of Si-form 2012 signed a resolution aimed to support Russian private production and innovations centers.
